Welcome to Ms. Scarpati's Corner!

Being an Assistant Principal at South Richmond High School and having the ability to serve all stakeholders is a true privilege. I believe parent/family/caretaker involvement builds trust and success for students both in the classroom and at home. My background within the organization consists of nearly two decades worth of servicing our school community. I first began my P25 career teaching kindergarten in 2007, then fourth grade, and later high school. After many years of teaching, I transitioned into leading the organization as a Testing Coordinator, for both our Alternate and Standardized K-12 population. After five years as a Testing Coordinator, I then became an Assistant Principal. Currently, I oversee all the High School Inclusion sites located at Curtis High School, New Dorp High School, Port Richmond High School, and Tottenville High School. I also oversee each high school Work-Study Program. The Work-Study sites include United Cerebral Palsy, Bethel Church, Sgt. Mendez's Learning Center Para Training Program, and Staten Island University Hospital. These are in addition to the Main Building and Day Treatment South Program.

My educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Arts in Elementary Education, Master of Science in Special Education, and Advanced Graduate Studies in Administration and Supervision.

I look forward to continuing to serve the P25 family for many years to come!
