My name is Dr. Lauren Galanaugh. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Certified School Psychologist. I have been working in the education system since 2008, where I gained experience with utilizing and implementing behavior management strategies and teaching coping strategies. I have presented research internationally and am interested in identifying teaching strategies for appropriate behavior and emotional regulation.

Welcome back to the start of school! I hope you and your family had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. My name is Dr. Lauren Galanaugh and I am the school psychologist who will be providing counseling to your child this school year. I will be working alongside your child’s teacher and classroom paraprofessionals to implement IEP goals that were established over the course of the last school year.

Please do not hesitate to email me, even if our child does not receive formal counseling services. I am also available to support you with issues that occur at home and questions regarding transition. I have a Google classroom set up to access tips and strategies for at-home behavior management and ways to initiate the OPWDD process. Please enter the code mntne74 to join.
