My name is Samantha Smith, and I am beginning my 6th year of teaching. Currently, I am certified to teach grades Birth through 12 and I teach a 6:1:1 High School Alternate Assessment class at our Port Richmond High School location. I graduated with a Masters Degree in Special Education from Wagner College in 2016. I am currently pursuing a School Building Leader Certification with The College of Saint Rose.

Miss Smith's class had a virtual field trip with the Bronx Zoo.
We had the pleasure of meeting a fennec fox and learn about animal diversity and animal adaptations. Our classroom has been honing in on the continent Africa as were reading about Jane Goodall.
