Go on a nature walk in your neighborhood and look for the following items! You can improvise and also look out your window and see what you can find!
Here are some ideas for you to use with your child to help promote receptive & expressive language during this activity:
-Ask your child to point to the item
-Have them label the item or model the label for them
-Use the sentence stem "I see + item" (Visual provided in attachments)
-Have your child describe the item (i.e., "What color is it?" "Is it big or small?")
-Ask your child "WH" questions about the item (i.e., "What does a bird do?")
