Welcome to P3 Sgt. Angel Mendez Early Learning Center! Our site consists of Special Education grades Pre-K-5. We provide 6:1:1 and 8:1:2 (Pre-K) instruction.

For students with very high needs in most or all areas including academic, social and/or interpersonal development, physical development, and management. Classes provide highly intensive individual programming, continual adult supervision, a specialized behavior management program to engage in all tasks, and a program of speech/language therapy (which may include augmentative/alternative communication).

Our mission is to create programs that afford every student with a rigorous, equitable and positive learning experience. The purpose is to provide opportunities that will enhance student performance, as well as, to move students toward a Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). We provide multiple settings to achieve LRE, specifically: Day Treatment; Community Based Instructional Programs, Work Study and full time General Education Inclusion (Intermediate and High School). To achieve our mission, we are committed in building organizational-wide coherence in both standardized and alternate settings to accelerate learning for every student. To do this we will build upon the Chancellors Four Pillars by Strengthening Core Instruction, Know Every Student Well and Use Shared and Inclusive Curriculum, so that every child is prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to celebrate their abilities and have the potential to succeed in all their future endeavors.
