OCTOBER - Writing Homework Assignments

For each week of every month you will be required to complete a 5-7 sentence paragraph responding to the following prompts.  The goal of having just one assignment each week for our class is to get you to spend each day editing, revising, and perfecting your paragraph to all of the required sentence standards that we go over each day.  Each week's assignment will be worth 25 points, giving you a grade out of a 100 by the end of every month. You are required to submit ONE per week.

Week 1: What value is most important to your family?  How do you display it in your everyday life?
Week 2: Do you think you could go one month without using the Internet?  Why or why not?  What would be the hardest part?
Week 3: Why is it important for kids to have chores and responsibilities at home?
Week 4:  Write about a time when you gave something of yours to someone else.  How did they respond?  How did that make you feel?
