You've Found the 'WRITE' Class!

 

I began my career working in higher education. Working at City College in Harlem, I worked in student affairs during the day and also coached the basketball team. While there, I attended school at night for my master's degree in public administration. After focusing so much on urban youth policy, I decided I wanted to move into teaching. So, I became a NYC teaching fellow working as a teacher during the day and going to school at night for my degree in education. Since then, I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9! I have taught Math, ELA, and even science. Some facts about me: My favorite sports are basketball and boxing. I have boxed at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn and in the NYC and National golden gloves. I love to read, research, and learn new things. I believe strongly that hard work pays off!
