My name is Andrew Lauro, but I ask my students to call me Mr. Andrew (or Mr. A). I am a second year teacher at South Richmond High School. I am currently enrolled at Brooklyn College's Teaching Fellow's program to receive my Special Education degree. Before working as a school teacher, I worked as a social and emotional specialist at the Jewish Community Center for the Learning Bridges Program.

 

I try my best in building a trusting relationship with my students to support their outside ideas and classroom work. Utilizing an inclusive and collaborative approach, I strive to make Spanish and Algebra a positive learning force in my students lives. I look forward to having your child in my classroom.

On 10/12/21, V19 worked in small groups using mini whiteboards. The students worked together to simplify Algebraic Expressions, by showing their work and correcting their answers with their peers. Here At South Richmond High School, we try and promote Students teaching Students, not just Teacher teaching Students.
